Boat in Lock
Locking Through at Chaffeys

One thing often that surprises first time boaters on the waterway is that the canal staff are always willing to lock through a single vessel. Here we see a fishing boat on its way down from Indian Lake to Opinicon Lake. In the background is the lockstation house on the left and the old lockmaster's house, now a museum, on the right. See the the Lockmaster's House Museum page for more details.
