MacEWEN, Peter HughQ.C. Peter died on Sunday, April 14, 2002, at theage of 68, at his home in Morrisburg, where he practised law for manyyears. He was born in Maxville, Ontario, the son of the late WilliamA. MacEwen and Rachel MacLeod. He was predeceased by his sistersFlorence and Mary and his brother Bill. Peter is survived by his wifeAlice Wickenden; his sons John (Diane Gallagher) of Peterborough,Ontario, Christopher (Catherine Garrow) of Rossport, Ontario, Peter(Elizabeth Rhinelander) of Beverly Farms, Massachusetts, and William(Margot Lang) of Vancouver, British Columbia; his grandchildrenThomas, William, Adele, Angus, and Peter MacEwen, Cassia GallagherPiper, and by his sister-in-law Vera MacEwen. At Peter's request therewill be neither visitation nor service. Donations in Peter's memory tothe Canadian Cancer Society or the Winchester District MemorialHospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
