Descendants of Samuel* Webster

Notes

1. Samuel* Webster

Samuel Webster was one of the heroes who survived the battle ofWaterloo. Not long after that famous victory of Wellington, Mr.Webster came to Canada, and that he remained for a while in Quebec isinferred from the fact that he joined a Masonic lodge there. Fromthat city he went to Montreal, where he was married to Euphemia, adaughter of Dr. Spink. In 1824, he came to Greece's Point, and as thecanal was then in process of construction, he opened a grocery andboarding house, but died about six years subsequently. He had fourchildren - two of each sex; but all, save Samuel, died young.[History of Argenteuil]
