John Osborne Graham

JOHN OSBOURNE GRAHAM Born in 1926 in Goderich, died May 25, 2004.Graduated from Trinity College and Osgoode Hall in 1954. Predeceasedby daughter Leslie Ann and sister Mary. Beloved husband of Marylo.Will be greatly missed by daughter Jennifer (Rob Whittall) and sonJamie, grandchildren Ann and Robin Whittall and Leslie Ann and JohnGraham and brother-in-law Peter Roe and Rob Roe and ElizabethRoe-Pfiefer and their families. John co-founded country music radiostation CFGM and later Classic Communications cable company inRichmond Hill.
After retirement, he worked on Goderich's heritage preservation andthat of the Maitland Valley including projects such as the MenesetungBridge, the Morris Tract, the film Goderich at the Millennium and manyothers. The family thanks the hundreds of community volunteers andprofessionals who helped find John when he was lost in the countrysideon his way to his beloved farm. The family will receive friends at theMcCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Cambria Rd. at East St. Goderich onMonday from 4-6 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. George'sAnglican Church, Goderich, on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30.
