John Osborne Graham

JOHN OSBOURNE GRAHAM Born in 1926 in Goderich, died May 25, 2004. Graduated from Trinity College and Osgoode Hall in 1954. Predeceased by daughter Leslie Ann and sister Mary. Beloved husband of Marylo. Will be greatly missed by daughter Jennifer (Rob Whittall) and son Jamie, grandchildren Ann and Robin Whittall and Leslie Ann and John Graham and brother-in-law Peter Roe and Rob Roe and Elizabeth Roe-Pfiefer and their families. John co-founded country music radio station CFGM and later Classic Communications cable company in Richmond Hill.
After retirement, he worked on Goderich's heritage preservation and that of the Maitland Valley including projects such as the Menesetung Bridge, the Morris Tract, the film Goderich at the Millennium and many others. The family thanks the hundreds of community volunteers and professionals who helped find John when he was lost in the countryside on his way to his beloved farm. The family will receive friends at the McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Cambria Rd. at East St. Goderich on Monday from 4-6 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, Goderich, on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30. Interment Maitland Cemetery. Donations in John's memory may be made to the Nature Conservancy of Canada (1-800-465-0029) or at the Funeral Home [Globe and Mail, Saturday, May 29, 2004]

died from food poisioning - infection from food bacteria "listeria or listeriosis"


56. John Paul (Jack\Doc) Watson

Died in a bush plane crash while fighting a forest fire (Jack was the pilot).
