A Home Away From Home We're located in Portland, on beautiful Big Rideau Lake, an easy drive from Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa or the U.S. (click on the map for a detailed view)   Gisela's Bed & Breakfast is run like a home away from home, which means the guests are made as comfortable as they would be in their own home. We offer three bright and friendly rooms, two with queen size beds and one with two single beds. A comfortable living room is reserved for our guests, where they may relax, read or watch television. We also have some games - and, of course, we do have a pool, which is greatly enjoyed by all. Good weather provided, we serve breakfast at the pool side, or otherwise at the big bay window, overlooking the lake. Breakfast can be adapted to any needs or diets of our guests, usually it consists of fresh fruit, yoghurt, several jams and marmalades, toast, bread, cereal and Gisela's special omelette. There is the never empty coffeepot, tea, milk and orange juice, whatever our guests desire. Fine dining with a view Our rates are very reasonable: Singles $ 55 per night, Doubles $ 70, breakfast included. Open from mid-May to mid-November. Gisela speaks English, German, Spanish and some French.
