Former canalman Raymond Laforest's hobby is collecting accordians. Not only does he collect them, he plays them (very well). Although he retired in 2001 he often returns to Jones Falls to favour boaters with a tune or two as they pass through the locks. It always generates a good round of appreciative applause. Next time you are at Jones Falls, look around to see if Ray might be there and ask him to play you a tune.
