Mallard Ducks

Mallard Ducks

Mallard ducks are a common sight (if you take a bit of time to look) along the Rideau. The male exhibits brightly coloured plumage, the female stays a camouflaged brown. Note the turtles ignoring the precipitous take-off of the male.
