A common sight along the Rideau, the Northern Leopard Frog, like all frogs, helps us out by eating lots of bugs. In this instance, the frog had taken up residence in my lettuce patch, helping to keep nasty pests at bay in my garden. (photo by: Ken Watson, 1999) |
