Bedford Mills
Beford Mills

Located at the foot of Buttermilk Falls (which flows from the outlet of Devil Lake), this area was a thriving milling and shipbuilding centre until the early 1900s. The most prominent feature today is the beautiful stone mill, now converted into a private home. It was built in 1850 by Benjamin Tett and operated until 1904. It's a beautiful place to visit either by water or by road.
