Click on image to view. Click again on image to re-start cube rotation. The locks are a never ending source of fascination. They can be enjoyed both by those arriving by water and by land. In this cube you will see a flight of 3 locks, boats leaving a lock, a lock with fall colours, a Parks Canada canal staffer with 2 helpers turning a "crab" which opens and closes the lock gates, one of the four blockhouses along the Rideau and skating on the canal. Rideau aficionados will have no trouble identifying the locations of each of these images, except perhaps for the photo of the crab. |
